SOCIAL MEDIA DISTRACTION
Social media is one of the common platform people get and addicted and lose the count of time.
In today’s world many of us rely on social media platforms such as Facebook,Twitter,snapchat,YouTube,and Instagram to find and connect with each other. While each has its benefits, it is important to remember that it can never be a replacement for real world human connection. It requires in person contact with others to trigger the hormones that alleviate stress and make you feel happier , healthier, and more positive. Though social media can be used for many important purposes, it is also a major cause of distraction. A person would have take the phone for an important purpose and when they enter social media they even forget for what they need the phone . It wastes so much of our time. Those days atleast we could control the usage of social media and phone but in this scenario it is impossible to control the use of social media as child from age 12 is even using social media platforms.
THE NEGATIVE ASPECTS OF SOCIAL MEDIA
• Inadequacy about your life or appearance
• Fear of missing out
• Isolation
• Depression and anxiety
• Cyberbullying
• Self- absorption
Thus we have to spend more time with ourselves and our family instead of social media
